Bridge-Rummy-Whist No. 7 dates from the early period of the Vereinigte Altenburger und Stralsunder Spielkarten-Fabriken and can be attributed to the 1930s. Founded in 1931, the company marketed its playing cards under the ASS brand and became one of the most important names in German playing card history.
The set was designed for classic card games such as Bridge, Rummy and Whist, but can also be used for Poker, Canasta and many other traditional card games. Preserved as a complete ensemble with its original packaging, it has particular historical appeal and collector interest today.
