The fortune-telling cards by B. Dondorf of Frankfurt am Main are among the classic historical Lenormand editions from Germany. This No. 2 edition, featuring German verses, the characteristic BD dragon logo and the ornate Dondorf card backs, is a fine example of the printing and design quality of the 1910s.
A particularly attractive feature of this set is that, in addition to the complete deck, the original accompanying instruction booklet has also survived. The front and back panels of the original folding box are likewise preserved, adding two authentic elements of the historical packaging to the ensemble.

The deck is in an authentic, age-appropriate condition with an attractive historical patina. These more than 100-year-old cards show the natural signs of their long history and use; the illustrations, card numbers and German verses remain clearly visible. The surviving front and back panels of the original folding box also display an appealing age-related patina. The original instruction booklet is complete.
The ensemble is supplied in a transparent protective case, allowing the cards, booklet and surviving historical packaging elements to be stored safely together while remaining attractively presented.
