The historical quartet card game “Deutschland, Band II” by F.X. Schmid, Munich, offers an impressive glimpse into Germany during the early post-war period through its black-and-white photographs. The cards are overall in good condition for their age.
The hinged box shows light age-related rubbing but remains stable and complete.
A beautiful piece of German playing card and cultural history, combining the documentary character of a historical photographic quartet with the classic design of an F.X. Schmid card game. As “Deutschland, Band II”, this edition also makes an interesting companion to “Deutschland, Band I” and documents another part of this historical quartet series.
The card game has been checked by me, stored carefully and is in the condition described.
