A rare card deck from the Swiss playing card manufacturer J. Müller & Cie (Schaffhausen & Hasle). These “Fine German Playing Cards” feature the classic Swiss double-figure design and represent a charming example of traditional printing craftsmanship from the late 1920s. The deck is carefully stored in a protective transparent sleeve.

Artwork: multicoloured illustrations in warm reds, yellows and blues with crisp, precise printing
Card backs: light beige rosette and dot pattern typical of the interwar period
Condition: the cards show signs of play but remain in very good condition for their age, with attractive age patina and no major wear. The Schilten Ober has a subtle center crease (see photo_11).
Storage: the complete deck is housed in a transparent plastic sleeve that protects the cards and allows for clean presentation.
Special note: an authentic collector’s piece from the interwar period – a fine example of Swiss playing card history with characteristic design and charm.
The deck has been inspected, carefully stored and is offered in the condition described above.
