Kipper cards belong to the classic German fortune-telling systems that originated in the late 19th century. Their motifs depict everyday scenes and figures from the Gründerzeit period and form a clear and symbolic oracle system that is still widely used today.
During the 1990s these historical illustrations were reissued in high-quality reprints. This set originates from that period and, together with two accompanying books, forms a complete working and collector’s set.
