This charming puzzle game is based on a popular Biedermeier original from around 1830. The divided figures belong to the classic “metamorphosis games”, in which different picture characters emerge by combining individual parts in humorous and surprising ways.
The present edition is a German reproduction from the 1980s, published in the circle of Franz-Josef Holler, who became well known for carefully recreating historical paper toys and puzzle games for collectors.
