This Lenormand card deck is based on the classical fortune-telling system associated with the French cartomancer Marie Anne Lenormand. The visual language of these 36 cards developed in the early 19th century and remains one of the established European oracle systems to this day.
The Leipzig reprint offered here from 1982 consciously continues this tradition and is representative of the esoteric and divination culture of the 1980s in the former GDR.
