This original Rummy double-deck from the 1930s was produced by F.X. Schmid Munich – Vereinigte Münchner Spielkartenfabriken, one of the most important German playing-card manufacturers of the pre-war period.
The preserved German Reich tax stamp No. 55 (used 1931–1936) allows a precise dating to the early 1930s.
Double-deck sets like this were traditionally used for Rummy, Bridge, or Poker and represent the high production standards of Munich playing-card factories during the interwar period.
