An authentic Skat deck from the early 1930s produced by the traditional manufacturer F.X. Schmid (United Munich Playing Card Factories).
The deck features the Preußisches Doppelbild in the German suit system, finely printed and richly colored. The original Reich tax stamp “DEUTSCHES REICH” (used 1931–1936) appears on the Ace of Hearts, providing a reliable historical dating for the set.
The number cards display charming genre scenes, including a doctor’s visit, a shepherd with livestock, and depictions of wine and traditional crafts.
The card backs show a classic cross-hatch pattern in black on an ochre background, typical for German playing cards of the period.
Card size: 101 × 57 mm
Condition: played but very well preserved – strong colors, no creases, attractive surface gloss
Delivered in a clear protective case for safe storage and presentation
