Original playing card press from the 1930s, crafted from solid beechwood with lid and metal hook clasp – a functional and aesthetic accessory of historical card culture.
This well-preserved example combines craftsmanship, utility and authentic patina. Card presses were traditionally used to smooth played decks and keep them permanently flat. In many households, they formed part of a carefully maintained Skat or card-playing ensemble.
