A characterful piece of German playing card history: this Tarock / Schafkopf playing card originates from the 1940s and was produced by the renowned Vereinigte Altenburger und Stralsunder Spielkartenfabriken.
The classic Bavarian double-figure pattern and the historical ASS stamp “Deutsches Reich” clearly place the deck in its period and make it an authentic example of German playing-card culture of the pre-war and wartime era.
